Sasha Broxup

Sasha Broxup, formerly known as Alex Pereyaslavets, is a Senior System Engineer at Beca since February 2024, following a notable tenure at the Royal New Zealand Navy that began in January 2014. As a Reserve Officer, Sasha has held various roles including Capability Integration Lead for a Communications Upgrade project, and Lieutenant Commander as Flag Lieutenant, providing support to the Chief of Navy. Other roles have included Trials Officer, Intermediate Engineer, and Head of Weapon Engineering School, where responsibilities included managing staff and students and overseeing project management for training aids. Sasha's experience extends to Zenno Astronautics as Mission Manager from January 2023 to February 2024, focusing on the successful launch of a superconducting magnet into space. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering, both from The University of Auckland.
