Bob Becker

Bob Becker is an experienced leader in digital transformation and engineering management, currently serving as Digital Strategy Lead and Digital Manufacturing Lead at Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc. since December 2024. Becker's previous roles at Bechtel included Industrial Base Management Deputy Department Manager and Digital Transformation Program Manager, focusing on enhancing the Nuclear Navy's Industrial Base and transitioning to Digital Engineering. Prior to joining Bechtel, Becker held several executive positions at Leonardo DRS, including Vice President of Operational Excellence and Vice President of Engineering, where significant performance improvements in engineering and project management were realized. Becker's earlier career includes leadership roles at DRS Integrated Defense Systems & Services, DRS Signal Solutions, Mercury Computer Systems, MicroTouch Systems, PictureTel Corporation, and Sun Microsystems, contributing to advancements in engineering and operational excellence across diverse high-tech industries. Becker holds a BS in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut and a BA in Liberal Arts from Fairfield University.
