Dominic Mak

Dominic Mak is a skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in manufacturing controls, sales engineering, and systems integration. Currently serving as a Manufacturing Controls Engineer at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics since December 2024, Dominic also owns Robot Smashing League, established in January 2022. Previous roles include Sales Engineer at both Air Automation Engineering Inc and Conveyor Concepts, Inc., as well as a Systems Application Engineer at SICK Sensor Intelligence and a Controls Integrator at TAIT Towers, where project leadership and technical expertise were key. Early career experiences included a Project Management Intern position at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and a Lead Teaching Assistant role at the University of Houston, where innovative course projects were developed. Dominic holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Houston.
