Tom Taatjes

Tom Taatjes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering design and project management. Currently serving as Vice President in charge of travel planning at Taatjes Retirement International since November 2014, Tom is also a Senior Mechanical Designer at Beckman Coulter, focusing on cost reduction strategies while maintaining product quality. Previous roles include mechanical design at Milestone AV Technologies and Stratasys, where Tom excelled in redesigning components for cost efficiency and holds 16 patents for innovative designs. Tom's career began as Plant Manager and Designer at Siloflex, where machinery for packaging agricultural products was developed. An educational background includes degrees in Engineering Design & Drafting Technology and a BA from Central College.
