Rob Anderson, CPA, CGMA has extensive work experience in various financial roles. Rob currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Bedrock Quartz Surfaces LLC since February 2017. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Product Management at Elsevier from March 2015 to February 2017, where they managed international business units and drove revenue growth through strategic partnerships and product enhancement. Rob also held the position of Business Controller at Amirsys, a company acquired by Elsevier, from June 2014 to February 2015.
Before joining Elsevier, Rob served as the Chief Financial Officer at Amirsys, Inc. from June 2013 to June 2014. In this role, they effectively managed finance, accounting, human resources, and administrative operations, administering a $14 million operating budget. Rob also implemented procedures to reduce month close time and established a human resources department.
Prior to their role at Amirsys, Rob held various positions at Tanner LC, including Audit Manager from October 2008 to June 2010, where they successfully managed client engagements and implemented a firm-wide education program. Rob started their career at Squire and Company, PC as an Auditor from May 2003 to May 2005, where they were promoted to an in-charge position and assisted clients in implementing new accounting software.
Rob's early professional experience includes working as an Accountant at Kingsbury Hall from 2000 to 2003. Recently, they have taken on leadership roles in the State of Utah, serving as the Chair of the Utah Board of Accountancy starting in April 2022 and previously serving as the Vice Chair from July 2019 to April 2022. Overall, Rob's work experience demonstrates their expertise in financial management, accounting, and leadership roles.
Rob Anderson, CPA, CGMA, completed their Master's degree in Professional Accountancy from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business in 2003. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the same institution between 1999 and 2002. In 1999, they also attended the University of Utah but did not complete a specific degree or field of study. Additionally, in January 2008, Rob obtained the certification of Certified Public Accountant from the State of Utah.

We provide fabrication and installation of slab materials for countertops, tub surrounds, stair treads, fireplace surrounds/hearths, floors, etc. Bedrock is the only stone fabricator in Utah that is ACCREDITED with the Marble Institute of America, and 1 of only 6 companies west of the Mississippi. We have the most state of the art facility and process in the region providing accurate, on-time service at a competitive price. We primarily deal with Granite, Marble and other Natural stone. We also offer Quartz such as Caesarstone, Hanstone, Cambria, Zodiaq, Okite, etc. We also offer recycled materials such as Icestone, Paperstone, Vetrazzo, Coverings, Squak Mountain Stone (Concrete), and many others. We recycle most all our water used for the cutting tools (CNC, Bridge saw, Water Jet, and Polishers) and recycle the un-usable remnant pieces (waste) into landscaping material. All of our templating is done digitally, converted to Auto Cad, and programmed for the machines to provide the most accurate measurements and end product. We have seasoned fabricators and installers that are true craftsmen and artists.
