Ian Stanton

Ian Stanton is an experienced sustainability professional with a strong background in leading sustainability initiatives across various organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Sustainability at Beggars Group since May 2023, Ian previously held similar leadership roles at The Woodland Trust and the Natural Environment Research Council, where responsibilities included the development and implementation of sustainability strategies within major environmental science research programs. Ian's prior experience includes serving as the Corporate Sustainability/Environmental Lead Assessor at Lloyd's Register, where Ian focused on assessing corporate performance against international sustainability standards, and as a Corporate Sustainability Analyst at Jaguar Land Rover, implementing best practices across global operations. Ian Stanton earned a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Management from Lancaster University between 1997 and 2000.
