Hanne Verwaest is a Process Engineer at Belgoprocess since June 2023, following an extensive career at Agfa from August 2010 to June 2023. During time at Agfa, Hanne served as Application Manager for H2 membranes, specializing in membranes for alkaline water electrolysis, and was responsible for the validation of newly developed membranes as well as technical coordination of joint development agreements. Hanne also held the position of Project Manager for H2 membranes, overseeing R&D projects for ZIRFON membranes used in hydrogen production, and Project Manager for Functional Foils, managing the development of BOPET-based foils. Hanne earned a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from KU Leuven in 2010.
