Wim Van Laer has extensive experience in safety engineering and operations management, currently serving as the Algemeen directeur and CEO at Belgoprocess since July 2000, where previous roles included Chief Operations Officer and Safety Engineer. Prior to this, experience included the role of Safety Engineer at Travhydro from September 1996 to June 2000 and at Royale Belge in 1995-1996. Wim Van Laer holds multiple degrees from prominent institutions, including KU Leuven, the University of Antwerp, and Ghent University, with education spanning from 1980 to 1992.
