Amanda MacLean

Amanda MacLean is an experienced educator currently serving as an English Language Arts Teacher at AdLife Academy since August 2024 and as an English Teacher at Outschool since August 2020. In addition to these roles, Amanda has been a Substitute Teacher at Lynden High School, Bellingham Public Schools, and Ferndale Schools since 2018. Prior experience includes a leave replacement teaching position at Lynden Middle School for Language Arts and Social Studies during the 2021-2022 academic year. Amanda is also a Freelance Caregiver providing in-home elder care and contributes to accessibility services as a Scribe for visually impaired students at Whatcom Community College. Amanda has a strong educational background with degrees from Western Washington University, The University of Texas at Austin, and Tyler Junior College, along with ongoing professional development. Amanda is also a Freelance Writer and Photographer, showcasing a multifaceted skill set.
