Aishwarya Subramanian

Aishwarya Subramanian, PhD, is a seasoned expert in oncology and molecular biology, currently serving as the Tech Lead Oncology at BenchSci since January 2020, with prior roles as a Scientist III and R&D Scientist. Aishwarya's notable experience includes a postdoctoral position at The Hospital for Sick Children, where groundbreaking research was conducted on mRNA transcript stability and its implications for Ras-mutant cancers, along with the identification of druggable candidates for targeted therapy. Earlier research at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia focused on cell death pathways in relation to oncogenes, leading significant projects on mitochondrial function and small molecule screening in cancer models. Aishwarya holds a PhD in Molecular Oncology and advanced degrees in Biotechnology, underscoring a robust academic and research foundation in the field.
