István Fehérvári

István Fehérvári, PhD, is a seasoned technology leader currently serving as Co-Founder and CTO at a stealth startup, focusing on foundational generative AI technology aimed at enhancing personalization. In addition, Fehérvári is the Chief Scientist at Ingram Technologies and the Director of Data and ML at BenchSci, where the emphasis is on developing the gen3 platform utilizing advanced generative AI solutions. Previously, Fehérvári held the position of Director of Machine Learning Science and Engineering at Loblaw Digital, leading multiple teams in solving complex e-commerce challenges, and was a Senior Applied Scientist at Amazon, where innovative machine learning solutions were developed to enhance e-commerce operations, resulting in two patents for real-time video encoding applications. Additional experience includes a role as a Product Development Engineer at Intel Corporation and contributions to autonomous robotics at RobArt GmbH. Fehérvári earned a PhD in Computer Science from Universität Klagenfurt and an MSc in Integrated Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
