Sarah Binstead serves as the Group Chief Risk Officer at Benefact Group since September 2020, leading the second line of defence and overseeing risk management frameworks across the organization. Prior experience includes Chief Risk Officer at Triodos Bank UK Ltd, where the role transitioned to that of a wholly owned subsidiary with UK Banking Licence, and various leadership positions at Nationwide Building Society, including Head of Enterprise Risk Management Framework and Governance. Earlier career stages featured roles at Lloyds Banking Group and KPMG, focusing on internal audit and financial control. Sarah holds a 2.1 degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham and A Levels in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry from Hardenhiush School.
