Jacob Coughlin is a Senior Analyst at BSG since March 2023, previously serving as an Analyst. Jacob's prior experience includes a role as a Policy Analyst with the NYC Office of the Mayor from November 2022 to February 2023, and as a Comms Fellow during the Midterm Election at 50+1 Strategies, LLC from August 2022 to November 2022. Jacob spent two years as a 2020 Teach For America Corps Member teaching 9th Grade History at Booker T. Washington High School from July 2020 to June 2022. Additional experience includes interning as a Press Intern for Governor Roy Cooper in the State of North Carolina during the summer of 2019, working as a Campaign Finance Intern for Kathy Manning for Congress (NC-6) in mid-2018, and serving as a 7th Grade Writing Teaching Fellow at Breakthrough New Orleans in the summer of 2017. Jacob holds a degree from Wake Forest University, having graduated in 2020.
