Chandu Ammini

Chandu Ammini serves as the Vice President of Business Development at Benitec Biopharma Inc. since July 2025, with a strong background in strategic roles within the biotech sector. Previously, Chandu held the position of Senior Director of Business Development at Basecamp Research, where efforts concentrated on leveraging genomics and AI to expedite product development. Chandu's extensive experience includes leadership roles at Resolve Biosciences, Inscripta, Inc., Thermo Fisher Scientific, Affymetrix, Prognosys Biosciences, Perlegen Sciences, and Antara Biosciences, encompassing business development, corporate development, and marketing. Chandu holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics, Immunology, and Medical Microbiology from the University of Florida College of Medicine and an MBA from the University of Maryland.
