Marli Bennett has a diverse range of work experience spanning over a decade. Marli currently works at Bensimon Byrne, where they started in 2019 as a Business Lead and has since been promoted to roles such as Senior Business Lead and Group Business Director. Prior to that, they worked at J. Walter Thompson Worldwide from 2012 to 2019, starting as an Account Executive and later becoming an Account Supervisor. From 2009 to 2012, they worked at HMWV Advertising as a Marketing Associate and Media Buyer, and later as a Marketing Manager and Media Buyer. Marli began their career at Planet3 Communications as a Publicist and Media Relations Coordinator from 2007 to 2009.
Marli Bennett attended George Brown College from 2006 to 2007, where they obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Sport & Event Marketing. Prior to that, they studied at the University of Ottawa from 2003 to 2006 and earned a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree in Criminology. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained certifications such as Google AdWords 101 & 201 from Seminars for Success in 2011 and completed the Think Travel program offered by Google in the same year.
