Dean Patterson serves as the Deputy CIO at Bentley University since March 2023. In 2023, Dean was a finalist for the Boston CIO of the Year® ORBIE® Award, a prestigious recognition in New England for technology leadership. Prior to this role, Dean held the position of Vice President of Information Technology (VP/CIO) at AAA Northeast from 2007 to 2023, providing strategic IT direction in a multifaceted organization. Dean has also been recognized as a finalist for the Boston CIO of the Year® ORBIE® Award in 2019. Previous experience includes serving as VP/CIO at Zoots Dry Cleaning from 2001 to 2007 and working as IT Director of Operations. Dean is a graduate of Emerson College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications.
