Shayna Gentiluomo

Shayna Gentiluomo is currently a Professional Tutor at Bergen Community College, specializing in basic and developmental mathematics, college algebra, trigonometry, calculus, general biology, microbiology, and general chemistry. Additionally, Shayna serves as a Supplemental Instruction Leader for college chemistry courses. Previous experience includes a Research Intern role at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, focusing on chemical vapor deposition for titanium-carbide MXenes, and participation in SARS-CoV-2 research, earning a 1st place award at a biology and healthcare poster session. Earlier positions include Community Manager at Hackaday, Content Manager for the Department for International Trade, and Assistant to the Senior Curator at The Museum of Modern Art. Shayna holds an Associate of Science in Chemistry from Bergen Community College and is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, following a BFA in Fine Art from the School of Visual Arts.
