Curtis Wong

Curtis Wong is a Senior Research Associate at Berkeley Lab, specializing in energy and demand resources modeling since September 2023. Wong's previous experience includes serving as an International Renewable Energy Analyst at Ren, focusing on renewable energy policy research in the Asia-Pacific region. Wong has also held roles such as a Student Assistant at the University of California, Berkeley, where leadership in developing a wastewater treatment prototype was demonstrated, and an Innovation Analyst Intern at EDF US Innovation Lab, contributing to technology evaluations for the electric utility sector. Prior engineering experience includes positions at CLP, where operational and maintenance management of power generation equipment was conducted, alongside various internships in the energy field. Wong holds a Master of Development Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Hong Kong, supplemented by a part-time MSc in Electrical Engineering from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
