Solmary Zayas

Solmary Zayas, MPS, is an experienced professional in learning and development and recruitment, currently serving as a Learning and Development Coordinator and Recruiting Coordinator at BRG since December 2022. Prior experience includes working with Kohl's from August 2014 to August 2022 in various roles such as a Penn State Early Talent Team Member, where responsibilities included recruiting talent for internship programs and engaging with students to assess prospective candidates. As an Assistant Store Manager, Solmary managed a team of 50-80 employees, focusing on training and performance management, while collaborating with corporate HR. Additionally, from January 2019 to January 2022, Solmary facilitated workshops at Penn State University, educating undergraduate students on interview and networking strategies. Currently pursuing a Master of Professional Studies in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at the University of Maryland, following a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Penn State University.
