Susan Cotterell

Susan Cotterell is a seasoned human resources professional with extensive experience in strategic HR leadership across multiple sectors. Currently serving as VP and Director of Human Resources for W. R. Berkley Corporation since January 2019, Susan aligns People and Culture strategies with business goals while managing a comprehensive HR Business Partnering service. Previously, as HR Director at NewLaw Solicitors from January 2015 to December 2016, Susan oversaw the delivery of HR strategies across a multi-site business. Furthermore, during a long tenure at Crabtree & Evelyn from February 2001 to December 2014, Susan held the roles of Human Resources Director, EMEA, and Head of HR, EMEA, where responsibilities included strategic oversight and operational management for the UK region and European HR function.
