The Bermuda Maritime Academy was launched in 2022 as a new and dynamic advocate for maritime interests in Bermuda.

Specifically, the Bermuda Maritime Academy shall:

Develop pathways for Bermudians seeking and advancing their Maritime careers;
Identify and develop strategic partnerships, both locally and internationally, to coordinate existing and future resources and opportunities;
Develop pathways for Bermudians seeking to pursue international high performance sailing careers
Promote coordination, protection, knowledge, research and conservation of Bermuda’s Marine environment;
Facilitate improved efficiency and maximum capitalization of Maritime charitable organizations.
