Bernards Township School District
Mark Dotta is an experienced Technology Education Teacher at Ridge High School since August 2011, recognized as the 2017 ITEEA Teacher of the Year. Dotta teaches engineering design, robotics, and architecture, specializing in prototyping and computer integrated manufacturing using advanced tools like a laser cutter and 3D printer. In addition, Dotta founded and serves as a counselor for the BrainSTEM Summer Camp, aimed at enhancing engineering and robotics skills for students in grades 4-8. Prior teaching roles include positions at Jefferson Township High School and Warren Hills Middle School, and earlier experiences in automotive and construction industries, including a family-run dealership and building company. Dotta holds a Master’s Degree in Classroom Technology from Wilkes University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology Teacher Education from Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
