Lela Mazzo is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and budget management across various industries. Currently serving as the Controller at Bertschi School since January 2022, Lela previously held the role of Senior Accounting Manager at Bezos Academy, where end-to-end accounting processes were designed to support organizational growth in education. Lela's background includes managing a complex $169M budget at the Education Development Center and overseeing a $30M budget at Oregon State University's College of Agriculture. Additionally, Lela has held senior accounting positions at Peterson Holding Company, Eichstaedt & Devereaux, LLP, and Cummings Lamont & McNamee, demonstrating a diverse skill set in financial analysis, auditing, and tax preparation.
