Michelle Cheng is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a concentration in AI at Toronto Metropolitan University, expected to graduate in December 2025. Michelle is involved in a project at the Maternal Imaging Lab focused on the automatic segmentation of fetal lungs affected by diaphragmatic hernia using deep learning techniques. Concurrently, Michelle holds the position of Junior R&D Engineer and Technical Writer at Conavi Medical since September 2024 and serves as a Coding Instructor at Best Brains Learning Centers. Prior experience includes roles as a Jr. Sustainability Analyst & Customer Care at Waste Solutions, Software V&V Intern at Conavi Medical, Customer Service & Data Entry Associate at MASS Environmental Services, and Engineering Outreach Programming Instructor at Ontario Tech University. Michelle completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering from Ontario Tech University in May 2023.
