Jim O'Rourke

Jim O'Rourke, CPA, currently serves as the Director of Treasury for Corporate Finance and Capital Markets at Best Buy since February 2024. Prior to this role, Jim held the position of Assistant Controller at Border States from November 2022 to February 2024. Jim's extensive experience at Best Buy spans nearly a decade, where responsibilities included serving as Senior Manager and Manager of Corporate Accounting, as well as Senior Accounting Analyst. Earlier in his career, Jim worked as an Accountant and Sales/Application Specialist at Hill Industrial Tools Inc. and gained foundational experience in Assurance Services at Ernst & Young. Jim holds a Masters of Science in Accountancy from the University of St. Thomas, earned in 2010, and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the same institution, completed in 2009.
