BestBox Fitness Inc. is a Gym Management Platform & Application Programming Interface (API) that standardizes the way we log, track & record common movements that athletes train, like squatting, pressing and lifting, across a broad range of applications like strength training, metabolic conditioning & sport-specific skill development. 

Today, there are many applications that “track workouts”, and can cover common applications like running.  Where things break down is that beyond that, most other movements, like the pull-up, are not tracked with any level of specificity.  They are bucketed into a general “HIIT” activity on your Apple Watch, or a Run tracked with your FitBit.

The entire premise of “training” is that you are working to improve, and how can you know whether you are improving or not, if you are only tracking your attendance and not how your are performing against specific movements.

CrossFit is an example of an industry that has proven there is a need for this.  Arguably one of the top training methods in the world today, in terms of overall “fitness”, their industry has given birth to a few software platforms that allow athletes to do just this, track their specific movements over time.
