Andrew Deane

Andrew Deane has extensive experience in software development and systems management, currently serving as Head of Platform - Sports at bet365 since April 2014, where accountability for the complete Sports Betting Platform is held while leading a multidisciplinary team of over 500 professionals. Previous roles at bet365 include Head of Systems Development and Deputy Head of Systems Development, focusing on high-volume, low-latency platforms. Prior to bet365, Andrew was a Technical Architect at Canonical Ltd., managing remote teams and overseeing cloud solutions. Earlier career roles include Analyst Programmer at Winterflood Securities and Boot Computers Limited, along with software development positions at Mayne Computers Limited and Royal Doulton Limited. Andrew holds a BSc(Hons) degree in Computing Science from the University of Staffordshire, obtained in 1998.
