Melanie Martinsen has a diverse work experience in several research and engineering roles. Melanie started their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at The Galagan Lab at Boston University in 2016. Melanie then went on to work as a Volunteer at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2017. In 2018, they joined Beta Bionics as an Assistant Product Development Engineer. Currently, they are working as a Research Technician at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard since 2019.

Melanie Martinsen attended the Boston University College of Engineering from 2015 to 2019. Melanie earned a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering during their time there.
