Benoit Merelation

Benoit Merelation is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in the insurance and technology sectors. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Betclic Group since September 2020, Benoit previously held significant roles at Wakam as Chief Digital Officer and Directeur Général Adjoint et DSI from December 2016 to September 2020, and at AXA from April 2013 to November 2016 as Head of Engineering of the Data Innovation Lab. In this latter position, Benoit focused on advancing Big Data initiatives to enhance data-driven decision-making across the AXA Group. Benoit also led IT transformation projects at AXA aimed at improving operational efficiency and agility. Early career experience includes an internship at Airbus Group in 2003. Benoit holds a Master's degree from HEC Paris and completed the Leader Academy program at Ecole Polytechnique Executive Education in 2019.
