Laurent Hervaud

Laurent Hervaud is an experienced engineering and data professional, currently serving as the Head of Engineering and Head of Data Platform at Betclic Group since June 2022, where management of a 12-person Data Platform team takes place. Prior to this role, Laurent was a Data Solutions Architect at GEKKO - part of Accenture from October 2020 to May 2022, responsible for creating a centralized data hub on AWS and coordinating between European functional teams and offshore technical teams. Laurent's career began at Groupe IDAIA in June 1995, where responsibilities included roles as BigData Manager, Technical Expert, and Developer, focusing on massive web crawling on Hadoop/Cloud infrastructure, system architecture, and software development. Laurent holds a DUT in Informatique from IUT A Bordeaux, completed in January 1995.
