Soheil Alavi

Soheil Alavi has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. Soheil co-founded and served as the CPO of Bettermode, a cloud-based community platform. Soheil was also an Entrepreneur In Residence at The DMZ, a university-based incubator for tech startups. Soheil founded and served as the CEO of Reyhoon, an online food ordering service in Tehran. Soheil was an Entrepreneur In Residence at Avatech Accelerator, providing mentorship and seed funding to aspiring entrepreneurs. Soheil worked as a Product Designer at SFX Entertainment, integrating Tunezy into the SFX family of companies. Prior to that, they were a Product Designer at Tunezy, a music e-commerce startup. Soheil also worked as a Product Designer at TheRedPin, a real estate brokerage, and as a Co-founder and Product Designer at AYLIEN, a company focused on the Semantic Web. Soheil began their career as a Product Designer at Behnevis, a software company.

Soheil Alavi has a background in New Media, Digital Media Arts, and Computer Science. Soheil attended Ryerson University for an unspecified period, studying New Media. In 2007, they enrolled at Seneca College, where they completed a program in Digital Media Arts, graduating in 2009. Additionally, Soheil Alavi has attended the University of New Brunswick for an undisclosed period, focusing on Computer Science.
