Buddhadeb Samanta

Buddhadeb Samanta is an accomplished audit professional with extensive experience in leading internal audit functions across various organizations. Currently serving as the Chief of Internal Audit at Beyon since September 2019, Buddhadeb oversees audit responsibilities in Bahrain and international operations in Jordan, Maldives, and the Channel Islands. Previously, Buddhadeb held the position of Chief of Corporate Audit at PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk, where the focus was on revamping audit functions within Indonesia. Buddhadeb's career also includes significant roles at DU, Tata Teleservices, PwC India, Vodafone India, and ITC Limited, showcasing a consistent track record of establishing and enhancing audit processes and controls. Buddhadeb holds a Chartered Accountancy designation from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Bachelor of Commerce from St. Xavier's College.
