Chris Whitty has a strong background in software engineering, with experience in various roles and companies. Chris is currently working as a Staff Software Engineer at BeZero Carbon since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at VMware as a Senior Member Of Technical Staff from February 2019 to February 2021. Before joining VMware, Chris worked at Pivotal Labs as a Staff Software Engineer from September 2015 to January 2019. Chris also had previous experience at Micro Focus (Borland), where they held the positions of Software Systems Developer, Lead from November 2012 to August 2015, and Software Systems Developer from July 2010 to November 2012.
Chris Whitty completed their Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Computer Science from the University of Birmingham. Chris attended the university from 2007 to 2010.
