Linus Hiscox

Linus Hiscox has extensive work experience in the field of carbon ratings and environmental sustainability. From February 2022 to October 2022, they worked as a Carbon Ratings Scientist at BeZero Carbon. In this role, Linus was responsible for assessing and rating the carbon emissions of various entities.

Linus was then promoted to the position of Carbon Ratings Scientist (Team Lead) in November 2022 and successfully led a team in their carbon ratings activities until March 2023. Following this, they assumed the role of Senior Carbon Ratings Scientist (Coordinator) in April 2023, where they continued to contribute to the coordination and analysis of carbon ratings within the organization.

Prior to their work at BeZero Carbon, Linus worked at the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) as a Programmes and Policy Intern from June 2019 to January 2020. This role allowed him to gain experience in the development and implementation of environmental programs and policies.

Linus Hiscox completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at The University of British Columbia from 2016 to 2020. Following this, they pursued further studies at the University of Bristol from 2020 to 2021, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Global Wildlife Health and Conservation.
