Andy Jarvis is an accomplished expert in the field of geography and agroecosystem resilience, holding significant leadership roles in various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of the Future of Food at the Bezos Earth Fund, Andy previously held roles at CIAT as Associate Director General, Research Area Director, and Program Leader for Agroecosystems Resilience. Additional positions include Visiting Professor at SRUC, Leader of Climate Smart Practices and Technologies at CGIAR Climate Change, Agriculture & Food Security (CCAFS), and Scientist at Bioversity International. Andy holds a PhD and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from King's College London, earned between 1996 and 2005.
