David Burton

David Burton currently serves as the Director of Finance & Accounting/Controller at the Bezos Earth Fund since May 2022. Prior to this role, David held various significant positions at the United Nations Foundation from August 2005 to May 2022, including Executive Director of Business Services, Budgets and Reporting, Budget Director, and Budget Analyst. Earlier experience includes the role of Budget Analyst at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems from May 2002 to August 2005. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from George Mason University, completed an Executive Education Certificate in Leadership Decision Making at Harvard Kennedy School, and participated in a study abroad program at the University of Reading.
