Eddie Dear serves as the ITIL Manager at BFBS since September 2021, following a lengthy tenure at SSVC where Eddie held several key positions including Service Delivery Team Leader, Service Support Technician, and Transmission Controller from October 2004 to September 2021. In the current role, Eddie leads a team responsible for supporting television and radio services for armed forces audiences and internal users. Previous experience includes enhancing customer support processes, managing technical support, and ensuring successful live broadcasts. Eddie's contributions significantly improved operational efficiency and service delivery across multiple platforms. Education was completed at The Chalfonts Community College.

BFBS is a military charity and broadcaster that informs, entertains, connects and champions the UK Armed Forces. We bring entertainment, news, sport and information services to the military, their families and veterans worldwide.
