Behnam Ferdosi, Ph.D, P.Eng is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer and Numerical Modelling Specialist at BGC Engineering Inc. Behnam specializes in geotechnical earthquake engineering, seismic analysis of tailings impoundments, FLAC2D and FLAC3D, and liquefaction assessment of soils. Behnam has a strong academic background, having worked as a Senior Lecturer at Curtin University, a Research Assistant at Polytechnique Montréal, and an Assistant Professor at Sahand University of Technology. With a PhD in Geotechnical Engineering and another PhD in Mining (Rock Mechanics), as well as a Master's degree in Mining Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Behnam brings a wealth of expertise to their current role.
