Dr. Bhavik M. currently serves as the Senior Sales and Marketing Lead at BGI Genomics since July 2021 and has been with BGI Group in the role of Senior Sales, Channel and Strategic Partnership Manager since 2020. Previous experience includes positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Commercial Business Territory Manager and Scientific Sales and Applications Specialist from 2017 to 2020, as well as a Senior Research Scientist at Centenary Institute from 2016 to 2017. Dr. Bhavik held research and managerial roles at the Australian Federal Police and Victoria Police Forensics Services Department between 2013 and 2016. Early career experience includes research and teaching positions at the University of Canberra, BiaBill Pty Ltd, and the Australian National University. Dr. Bhavik holds a PhD in Applied Science from the University of Canberra, a Master’s in molecular genetics analysis from The Australian National University, and additional degrees in Biotechnology and Laboratory Technology.
