Brandon Oates has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Brandon began their career in 1997 as a Helicopter Mechanic in the United States Marine Corps, where they performed various maintenance and inspection duties. After leaving the military, Brandon held positions as a Maintenance Material Control Officer in Marine Aircraft Group 39 and as an Assistant Officer in Charge at the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training. Brandon then joined Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron-41 as an Assistant Officer in Charge and later became an Active Duty Officer in Charge, overseeing maintenance and repair activities. In 2015, Brandon became the Aircraft Maintenance Officer in Marine Aircraft Group 41. Brandon'smost recent role was as a Manufacturing Supervisor at Lockheed Martin before joining BGI, LLC as an Operations Analyst in 2021. Throughout their career, Brandon has demonstrated strong leadership, management, and logistical skills.

Brandon Oates has a diverse education history, including courses and degrees in Lean Six Sigma / Continuous Process Improvement as well as Management with a Logistics Specialty. In 2003, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Tennessee State University. Subsequently, from 2009 to 2011, Brandon pursued a Master's Degree in Management with a Logistics Specialty at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. In 2010, they completed a Lean Six Sigma White Belt course at Naval Education Training Command. Additionally, from 2013 to 2016, Brandon undertook the Project Sponsor Champion Course and the Green Belt Course in Lean Six Sigma / Continuous Process Improvement at the Department of the Navy.
