Vinodkumar T has over 17 years of work experience in various mechanical design engineering roles. Vinodkumar is currently working as a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer at BGR Energy Systems Limited, where they are responsible for the design of the BTG system for the 1X660 MW Ennore thermal power project. Their role involves overseeing the entire design process, from conceptulation to commissioning, and includes tasks such as equipment and system sizing, P&ID, plant layout, and engineering coordination with suppliers and other departments. Prior to their current role, Vinodkumar worked as an Associate Manager at L&T Sargent & Lundy and as an Engineer at Avant Garde engineers & Consultants.
Vinodkumar T began their education at MKHSS in Madurai from 1985 to 1995. Vinodkumar then went on to pursue a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering at Tamilnadu Polytechnic, also in Madurai, from 1995 to 1998. Following this, from 1998 to 2011, Vinodkumar attended Madurai Kamaraj University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering. Finally, they completed their Master of Technology in Energy Conservation and Management at the School of Energy in Trichy from 2002 to 2004.
