Joseph Lai has extensive experience in government affairs, currently serving as Principal and Vice President at BGR Group since August 2019. Previously, Joseph worked at The White House as Special Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs from 2017 to 2019. Prior roles include Legislative Director and Senior Legislative Assistant for Senator Roger F. Wicker between January 2011 and January 2017, and Legislative Assistant to Senator George Voinovich from 2008 to 2010. Early in the career, Joseph held positions with the Aerospace Industries Association and in the offices of Senators Chuck Hagel and Roger F. Wicker. Joseph Lai holds a Master of Arts degree from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
