Jonathan Shirley

Jonathan Shirley has extensive experience in project management and engineering, currently serving as the PMO Portfolio and Analytics Manager for Coal and Copper Projects at BHP since December 2019, previously holding the role of Project Controls Manager within the Project Centre of Excellence. Prior roles include Project Manager at Syntropy Solutions, Study/Project Manager and Operational Services Manager at Senex Energy Limited, Portfolio Delivery Manager and Senior Project Engineer at Arrow Energy, and Operations Manager for Australia and North America at GBI Mining Intelligence. Jonathan’s engineering background began as a Civil & Structural Engineer at Wade Design Engineers. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Management Science from University College Dublin, an altMBA in Business Administration and Management, a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from Queensland University of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from University College Dublin.
