Nicole Galea

Nicole Galea is an experienced Environmental Technician at BHP since February 2023 and previously held roles at Arid Recovery as a Fundraising Officer and Support Officer from January 2022 to June 2023. Nicole owned Misty Lane & Co from October 2018 to January 2022, focusing on environmentally sustainable practices and community education on reducing single-use plastics. With a strong academic background, Nicole earned a Bachelor of Animal Ecology and a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours in Zoology from the University of the Sunshine Coast and has a Certificate IV in Government Investigation. Additionally, past experience includes Project & Hospitality Management from 1990 to 2018, demonstrating excellent communication and stakeholder relationship-building skills.
