Stefanie Wilkinson

Stefanie Wilkinson serves as the Group General Counsel and Group Company Secretary at BHP, the world's largest mining company, since March 2021. Previously, Stefanie held the position of Group Company Secretary at the Victorian Independent Remuneration Tribunal and served as a Compliance Officer at the Parliament of Victoria. Stefanie's extensive legal experience includes a significant tenure as Partner at Herbert Smith Freehills, where expertise encompassed corporate governance, regulatory investigations, and capital management initiatives. Earlier roles as Senior Associate at Allen & Overy and Solicitor at Herbert Smith Freehills allowed Stefanie to develop a strong foundation in mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets, and corporate advisory across diverse sectors. Stefanie holds a Master of Laws in Corporate Law and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Melbourne, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
