Ricardo Soares is a Senior Pharmacometrician at BIAL since October 2021, previously serving as a Pharmacometrician at ANSM Agence nationale de sécurité du médicament et des produits de santé from October 2018 to September 2021, where responsibilities included assessing pharmacology and toxicology data for early phase trials and providing scientific advice on non-clinical development. Additional experience includes roles as an Invited Professor at Faculdade de Farmácia da Universidade de Lisboa, a Postdoctoral Fellow at NOVA Medical School focusing on clinical trials related to stroke, and a Healthcare Consultant at Simposium Digital HealthCare developing a web platform. Soares holds a PhD in Pharmacology from Université Paris Cité and has completed advanced studies in population pharmacokinetics and drug evaluation in children, alongside a PharmD from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Lisbon. Previous experience also includes work as a Hospital Pharmacist at CHLO, EPE, and research on the transport of antiepileptic drugs through the blood-brain barrier in children.
