Alex Buchanan-Munro has over 20 years of experience in financial management. Alex began their career at Reed Elsevier as a Management Accountant from 1995 to 1997. Alex then joined Edwards Vacuum, where they held various positions such as Commercial Accountant, European Service Accountant, Commercial Process Analyst, and Controller from 1997 to 2007. In 2007, they worked as a Controller at Applied Materials for a short period. Alex has been with Biamp Systems since 2008, initially serving as the Chief Financial Accountant until 2014. Alex then became the Vice President Finance from 2015 to 2016 and is currently the Chief Financial Officer since 2017.
Alex Buchanan-Munro attended the University of Brighton from 1992 to 1995, where they pursued a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance. After completing their degree, Alex obtained the certification of Chartered Global Management Accountant from CIMA in August 1998. Later, in 2010, Alex obtained the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification from IMA (Institute of Management Accountants).
