Alexey Markov has extensive experience in the energy industry. Alexey started their career at TNK BP in 2002 as a Team Leader in Oil Products Export Operations. Alexey then moved to BP Oil International Ltd in 2005 as a Trading Operator and later became an OTC Derivatives Sales and Marketing professional. In 2011, they joined SIBUR International GmbH as an LPG Trader. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Feedstock procurement, Sales, and Marketing at SIBUR since 2019.
Alexey Markov attended the Moscow State University of Commerce from 1993 to 1998, where they earned a BS degree in International Trade. Alexey also attended the Norwegian Shipping Academy in 2001-2002, studying Management in International Trade and Maritime Economics.
