Van N. Truskett

Van N. Truskett is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology innovation and development, particularly in the fields of agriculture, nanotechnology, and chemical engineering. Currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors at PlantSustain, Inc. and as Director of the GFRP Fund at Big Idea Ventures, Van N. Truskett focuses on advancing sustainable food and agricultural solutions. Previous roles include Fellow at the National Academy of Inventors, Associate Professor of Practice, and Director at The University of Texas at Austin. Van N. Truskett has held key positions at Canon Nanotechnologies and Molecular Imprints, where significant advancements in inkjet printhead technology and nanoscale imprint lithography were achieved. With a PhD in Chemical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, Van N. Truskett combines academic expertise and industry experience to drive innovation and commercialization in technology.
