Ben Thompson has a diverse work experience in various industries. Ben started their career as an On Air Personality at Big Radio from 2005 to 2007. In 2010, they worked as a Financial Analyst and Accountant at The Legal Balance, where they were responsible for constructing sales strategies, developing revenue projections, and analyzing web traffic. From 2011 to 2014, Ben worked as an Analyst at Longreach Capital and as an Operations Analyst at Magnetar Capital. Currently, Ben is the Owner and CEO of Big Radio, a position they have held since October 2017. Ben also served as the Market Manager at Big Radio from 2014 to 2017.
Ben Thompson attended DePaul University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Ben'sfield of study at DePaul University was Finance Honors, with a focus on Accounting.

Big Radio stations include The Big FM 93.7 (WBGR), Big Country AM1260 and FM95.5 (WEKZ), Big Rock Q102 (WQLF), Kickin' Country K92 (WFPS), AM 1570 The Giant (WFRL), 99.9 WJVL, 105.9 The Hog (WWHG), The Beat 92.3 & 98.9 (WBEL), WCLO AM 1230 & FM 92.7 and Iron Country 101.9 & 1490 (WGEZ).
